Douglas B. Moore is a cellist, arranger, editor, conductor, and publisher. The Douglas B. Moore Musical Score Collection consists of his arrangements for multiple celli, published through his company, PlayMooreCello. Moore also has published nearly three dozen modern editions of late 18th century and early 19th century duos for violin and cello, most of which have never appeared since their first publication.

Margaret Catherine Moore (1913-1975) was a Woman's College alumna, nurse and nurse educator after whom the UNCG School of Nursing building is named. The Margaret Catherine Moore Papers date from 1913 to 1982 and contain biographical material, diplomas and degrees, a high school annual, photographs, Moore's thesis from New York University, and World War II materials.

William Edward Moran (1932- ) served as chancellor of the University of North Carolina at Greensboro from 1979-1994.

The William Edward Moran Records date from 1979 to 1994 and contain correspondence, minutes, working papers, reports, photographs and other materials which document his tenure at the university, campus events and activities druing the period, and his interactions with the community as well as with state and federal authorities.

Thirty-eight letters written to various officials of the Moravian Boarding School in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania from parents of young women attending the school. The letters date from 1815 to 1849. The parents' letters refer to such matters as tuition, supplies, transportation, or other issues related to providing an education for their daughters.

Ruth L. Murray is considered a pioneer in the field of dance education. The Ruth L. Murray Papers date from 1933 to 1985 and contain minutes, correspondence, speeches, teaching material, news clippings, brochures, and conference papers.

The Musical Arts Guild has been extant for over 50 years, and has been a significant membership group for both current students, alumni, and faculty of the UNCG School of Music, Theatre, and Dance. The goal of the Musical Arts Guild is to provide support, financial and otherwise, to UNCG students in the form of scholarships. The collection of the Musical Arts Guild contains 2 boxes of material, from 1972-1996.

This collection includes Correspondence, 1944-1946. Though the majority of correspondence is personal in nature it presents insights into many different aspects of the military, including the urgent need for infantry, the relationship between officers and enlisted soldiers, life as a soldier, and Nabors's experiences as a female serving in the military.

Leonora I. Nagel (b. 1930) of Lawton, North Dakota, served with the Women in the Air Force from 1953 to 1956. She later spent almost thirty years teaching overseas as a civilian with the Department of Defense.

The National Council of Jewish Women (NCJW) was founded in 1893 by Hannah Greenebaum Solomon, a Jewish activist from Chicago. The Greensboro Section was formed in 1919 with Mrs. C.L. Weill as president.

National Negro Health Week was initiated in 1915 to address concerns for African American health.

The collection contains 19 pamphlets for National Negro Health Week from 1931-1950.

Nina M. H. served with the paramilitary First National Service School for Girls in 1919, during WWI, which was a program designed to train young women for service in support of the U.S. Military. Album contains 109 photographs documenting Nina's training and also a Victory Parade.

The Mary Cugini Papers consist of correspondence, photographs, military papers, Necko's poems, newspaper clippings, souvenirs, copies of the newsletters The U.S. Marine Corps Beachhead and The Marine Corps Women's Reserve The Word, a 1999 oral history recording and transcript, and textiles.

A scrapbook from her time in the Marine Corps Women's Reserve has been digitized.

Dorothy Turlington was a 1943 graduate of Woman's College (now UNCG) and a fifth grade teacher in Charlotte, North Carolina. The Dorothy Turlington Norment Papers date from approximately 1935 to 1947 and include letters, greeting cards, a wedding invitation, newspaper clippings, grades and schedules from Woman's College and an ORD program.

The North Carolina Association of Family and Consumer Sciences (NCAFCS), originally called the North Carolina Home Economics Association (NCHEA), was founded in 1917 with the mission to promote education, research and cooperative programs in the field of home economics. These records date from 1936 to 2005 and include correspondence, minutes, reports, programs, constitutions, membership lists, scrapbooks and related materials.

The North Carolina Council for Social Legislation was organized in 1920 in order to coordinate the legislative efforts of state-wide women's organizations. These records date from 1929 to 1975 and contain correspondence, administrative materials, publications, subject files, and historical documentation.

Formed in 1952 and chartered in 1959, the North Carolina Council of Women's Organizations served as a clearinghouse for women's groups, to prevent duplication of effort and provide the opportunity for partnerships. These records date from 1956 to 1979 and contain correspondence, administrative documents, financial records, printed materials, clippings and photographs.
