Abstract

Emilie Mills was born in Manhattan, New York in 1940. She graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Art from Woman’s College (later University of North Carolina at Greensboro) in 1962. She earned two Master's degrees, the first in 1965 in Fine Art from University of North Carolina at Greensboro and the second in 1972 in Library Science from the University of Illinois. Ms. Mills had several exhibits as an artist. She was the Special Collections Librarian at UNCG from 1972 - 1997. She was a founding member of the American Printing History Association.

Materials were donated by Emilie Mills in 1993.
