Department of English Records
The Department of English was created in 1893 after splitting from the Department of History. Today the department is responsible for the University's undergraduate and graduate curricula in English.
The records of the Department of English contains annual reports, correspondence, memorandums, meeting minutes, newsletters, pamphlets, posters, publications, and an archive of the department's website which document the activities of the department from 1899-2018.

Equal Rights Amendment in North Carolina Collection
The Equal Rights Amendment was first introduced by the National Women's Party in 1923 in order to remove all support for legal discrimination on the basis of sex.
The materials in this collection focus on the Equal Rights Amendment in North Carolina, providing an analysis of the ratification process in depth. There are 67 taped interviews with both opponents and proponents of ERA, thirty of which have been transcribed.

Don Etherington (1935- ), is known internationally for his work in the field of book and paper conservation and bookbinding. The collection contains the personal and professional materials of Etherington's career as conservator, instructor, administrator, consultant, and bookbinder.

Office of Facilities Records
The Office of Facilities Design/Construction is responsible for managing improvement projects on campus, while focusing on the financial and temporal constraints of construction projects. This collection contains plans, letters, reports, annual reports, and monthly newsletters and project files.
Faculty Committee on the University Budget Records
The Faculty Committee on the University Budget was formed in December of 1981. A recommendation to constitute such a committee was made to the Chancellor in the spring of 1981 by the Planning Council upon the request of the Budgetary Task Force.
Faculty Council and General Faculty Records
The Faculty Council has been extant at UNCG since its beginning, and was the main legislative body for the faculty. In 1991, because of a change in faculty governance, the Faculty Council was abolished and the General Faculty was created to take its place. The collection of the UNCG Faculty Council is comprised of 3 boxes of materials, and is almost entirely composed of minutes and agendas from Faculty Council meetings.
Faculty Science Club Records
This collection contains the minutes and associated papers of the Faculty Science Club from 1921-1955. The Faculty Science Club (previously the Scientific Club) was open to faculty and staff whose teaching or other professional duties fell into the areas of pure and applied science and mathematics.
Alice Park Fairbrother Collection
Alice Park Fairbrother of Raleigh, North Carolina, served as a physical therapist in the United States Army Medical Specialist Corps from 1965 till 1968.

Sue Ramsey Johnston Ferguson (1897-1977) was an alumna of Woman's College (now UNCG) and an educational and political leader in the Democratic Party of North Carolina.
The Sue Ramsey Johnston Ferguson Papers date from 1945 to 1947 and contain correspondence and clippings.
James Sharbrough Ferguson Records
The Ferguson records include those papers created during the months that he was acting chancellor as well as those years as chancellor. There are also a few papers from the time that he was Dean of the Graduate School and Vice Chancellor.

The Department of Finance of the Joseph M. Bryan School of Business and Economics was founded in 1985. It was responsible for the University's undergraduate and graduate curricula in finance.
The records of the Department of Finance contains annual reports and general files which document the activities of the Department of Finance from 1985-1995.
Office of Financial Services Records
The Grants and Contracts Office, a faction of the Research and Economic Development Office, provides information on grants, particularly those of governmental agencies, as well as reviews proposals involving external funding. This collection contains the monthly newsletters of the office, dating from 1976-1983.
