This collection contains articles and books written by Mrs. Crosby Adams (Juliette Adams); scrapbooks of her teaching studio happenings, other musical happenings, and programs from the recitals of her students; published articles about Adams; and one folder of correspondence. Several of her scrapbooks contain her handwritten description of events, classes, and class participants.

Acquired in November 2016, the Alan Beeler Collection contains over a hundred manuscript compositions and arrangements, in addition to other music for a variety of instrumentation. The collection also contains a small amount of Beeler's personal papers, including teaching materials.

The Holograph Collection was started through the efforts of Dr. Ruth Hannas and George Henry, former members of the music faculty of the Woman's College (now UNCG).
The Holograph Collection consists of over 150 unpublished musical scores created by North Carolina composers during the mid-20th century.

Anna Reid Jones Scrapbook
Anna Reid Jones graduated from the Woman's College of the University of North Carolina in 1947 with a degree in Music. She was a member of the Cornelian Society, the Town Students Organization, the Music Education Club, and the Orchestra.
The Anna Reid Jones Scrapbook dates from 1940 to 1944 and contains chiefly class notes as well as event programs of local musical performances and newspaper clippings.

The Cornelia Jones Scrapbook dates from 1916 to 1920. Among its contents are pictures and photographs, autographs and sentiments, invitations, event programs, college documents, newspaper clippings, correspondence, and other memorabilia.

Margarette S. Miller was the cousin of trumpeter Phyllis Widener, who played in Freddie Shaffer's Victory Sweetheart's All-Girl Band, which played for military bases and hospitals as part of the United Service Organization's camp shows during World War II. This scrapbook includes postcards, photographs, correspondence, newspapers advertisements and other memorabilia.

Douglas B. Moore is a cellist, arranger, editor, conductor, and publisher. The Douglas B. Moore Musical Score Collection consists of his arrangements for multiple celli, published through his company, PlayMooreCello. Moore also has published nearly three dozen modern editions of late 18th century and early 19th century duos for violin and cello, most of which have never appeared since their first publication.
Musical Arts Guild Records

Photographs of the Monterey Jazz Festival
A collection of 77 color Kodak photographs measuring between 3.5'x5" and 5"x7", without captions. The photographs were taken by an audeience member at the 1970 Monterey Jazz Festival. The images show the groups jamming, watching other performers, and smiling at the crowds.
