The Office of Assessment, Research, and Evaluation Records consists of polls, minutes, messages, surveys, research reports, self studies, questionnaires, forms and reviews all related to the Division of Student Affairs. These materials were intended to measure such things as performance of certain programs, student/alumni satisfaction, use of facilities, etc. The materials date from 1987-2001.

Documents concerning health insurance for military families, information regarding the Joint Chiefs of Staff and Benson's travel to Virginia.

This collection contains teaching materials, photos, slides, VHS tapes, cassette tapes, cards, correpsondence and books relating to Gay Cheney's life and career.

This collection contains annual reports, newsletters, program evaluations, correspondences, and other history records documenting the history of Warren Ashby Residential College at The University of North Carolina at Greensboro. The general files cover a period from 1970-1983 and discuss the founding of the residential college and the early struggles it encountered. Student and Alumni newsletters are included and dated from 1970-2012.

Magazines, newsletters, zines, and pamphlets collected by the UNCG WGSS Department, including materials related to LGBTQIA+ issues, environmental issues, music genres, etc. The collection includes examples of Risograph printing. Also part of the collection are zines donated by UNCG University Libraries employees Maggie Murphy, Art and Design Librarian and Associate Professor, and Suzanne Helms, Accessioning Archivist and Preservation Specialist.

The Eleanor Ross Taylor Papers date from the 1970s and include draft and manuscript copies of poems and "Note" for Welcome Eumenides.

Maggie Murphy, UNCG Art and Design Librarian and Associate Professor, donated this collection of zines that were purchased from various zinefests and related sources.

Murphy donated additional zines in October 2023, including 24 zines from End Paper NCMA Art Book Fair, September 22-24, 2023, and 56 zines from Durham Zine Machine, October 15, 2023.

The collection includes printed materials; including newsletters; booklets; yearbooks; and clippings especially from her time in Korea. Also, it includes 3 scrapbooks that document McPherson's Red Cross service, 1947-1959; additional scrapbook of club service at Double Five, Osan, Korea, 1959-1960.

The records of the Office of Facilities Design/Construction are comprised of 72 boxes of materials. The records consist of plans, letters, reports, annual reports, and monthly newsletters from the Physical Plant.

Series 2 and addition to collection 4 "Project Files" are organized by a project number system implemented by the Office of Facilities. An index is located in box 24 and box 68 which shows the connection between the project file numbers and the buildings.

The files in this series specifically concern the controversy surrounding Dr. Jack Carlton's administration of Western Carolina University.
