The Woman's College Major Students' Association club was chartered by the American Association for Health, Physical Education, and Recreation in March 1961. The collection contains constitutions, correspondence, working papers, meeting minutes, and other materials related to the organzation.

This collection contains an album of photographs taken during Clara's time in the Army Nurse Corps, a copy of handwritten reminiscences, a copy of her certificate of identity from the War Department, and a medical kit.

Patricia A. Sullivan was the ninth Chancellor of UNCG, but was the first female to hold this position. This collection attempts to serve as a living memory of Chancellor Sullivan. The contents in this collection consist of some of the following categories: photos, Sullivan’s personal notes and papers, Women’s College memorabilia, correspondence, and artifacts.

These are the records kept by Dr. Patricia A. Sullivan when she was the Chancellor at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro (1995-2008). The collection includes departmental reports, budgets, SACS accreditation information, and other records.

Frances Peden Summerell of China Grove, North Carolina, attended the North Carolina State Normal and Industrial College (now UNCG) from 1913-1916.

The scrapbook includes mounted or inserted cards, pictures, photographs, invitations, correspondence, valentines, clippings, booklets, and receipts.

This letter is dated 20 June, 1945. In it Sutter discusses the overseas voyage in which she stopped in Australia and Calcutta, India. She writes about her impressions of Calcutta and her living conditions and the hospital at her posting in Assam, India. Sutter also describes the typhoid ward to which she is assigned, the chaplain at the post, and her reaction to V-E Day.

Tricia Sutter (b. 1963), of Carteret, New Jersey, served in the United States Coast Guard from 1985 until 1989.

Paulette Pat Sweeney served in the American Red Cross from 1964-1966. During this time she spent thirteen months working in Supplemental Recreation Activities Overseas Programs throughout South Korea before spending a year working at Fort Dix, New Jersey.

Elizabeth Pedro Taggart (b. 1962), of South Korea, served as an officer in the United States Navy from 1982 to 1991 and the United States Navy Reserve from 1991-2010.

Robert "Bobby Danger" Talley is an artist in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. He is the co-founder of the United States of Racism (U.S.O.R.) project. He created a mural of John Lewis on a bedsheet which belonged to John Lewis at the Occupy Winston-Salem 49 day occupation of Bailey Park for the Justice for John Neville protest.

Virginia Tanner (1915-1979) was a pioneer in children's dance education. The Virginia Tanner Papers date from 1945 to 1979 and contain flyers, brochures, teaching notes, student papers, workshop materials, correspondence, photographs, motion picture films and videotapes.

Allen Tate was an American poet, essayist, and social commentator. He served as Poet Laureate from 1943 to 1944.

Eleanor Ross Taylor is a 1940 alumna of Woman's College (now UNCG) and an award-winning poet. The Eleanor Ross Taylor Papers date from the 1970s and include correspondence and draft and manuscript copies of poems.

An American flag, photographs, correspondence, newspaper clippings, biographical information, and miscellaneous publications related to Katherine Taylor and her time at UNCG.

Peter Hillsman Taylor (1917-1994) was a professor of creative writing and an acclaimed author, best known for his short stories published in the New Yorker and for the 1967 Pulitzer Prize-winning novel A Summons to Memphis.

The collection includes various photographs of Teague during her Women Accepted for Volunteer Emergency Service (WAVES) work, circa 1945-1946; a Pace publication (copy) from Los Angeles City College, Col. 5, No. 2, October 1942; an oral history transcript, 17 January 2002.

Mary Alice Tennent of Asheville, North Carolina, attended the North Carolina State Normal and Industrial College (now UNCG) from 1909-1913.

Material from 1909 to 1922 covering compiler's years as a student at the North Carolina State Normal and Industrial College and later as Assistant Registrar. Includes photographs, pictures, clippings, cards, invitations, correspondence, receipts, drawings, ribbons, fabric scraps and pressed flowers.

The collection includes miscellaneous photographs; service diary; military papers; flight log; United States Naval Air Station, Norfolk, Virginia Pictorial Review, circa 1943 to 1945; "WAVES of the Navy: A Story of the Women's Reserve Activities at the Naval Air Station by Eunice A. Horne; Certificate of Satisfactory Service ID Card, 1946; Officer's Cap Device; Lieutenant's Collar Bars; Honorable Service "Ruptured Duck" Pin; and Dog Tags, 1942.

Henrietta Pearl Terry (1904-1981) was an educational testing designer and administrator. The Henrietta Pearl Terry Collection dates from 1920 to 1955 and contains artifacts, biographical information, correspondence, photographs, a scrapbook, diaries, and memorabilia.

The University Archives Textile Collection contains clothing and textiles pertaining to State Normal and Industrial College, North Carolina College for Women, Woman's College of the University of North Carolina, and The University of North Carolina at Greensboro.

Elisabeth Moffitt Thames attended the North Carolina College for Women (now UNCG) from 1915-1919.

Though the Department of Theatre was officially established in 2000, theatre and drama have been a part of UNCG since its inception. Since then, the department has grown up to 300 students. This collection includes 57 boxes of material, focusing mainly on the productions and plays of the UNCG Theatre Department, as well as the Pixie Theatre for Young People.

The Thomas G. Clarke Papers is comprised of various publications collected by Thomas "Tom" Clarke between 1995 and 2008. The collection primarily contains newsletters from various LGBTQ organizations, including Alternative Resources of the Triad (ART), Parents and Friends of Lesbians and Gays (PFLAG), Piedmont Friends for Lesbian and Gay Concerns (PFLGC), and Triad Advocacy Network (TAN).

The Dorothy Wain Thompson collection includes photographs, military and personal papers, humorous writings, military guides, newspaper clippings, ephemera from her posting to England, songbooks, and a 1945 book about the history of the Air Force Unit. Also included are artifacts such as ribbons, medals, devices, pins, and insignia and patches.

The collection includes an oral history transcript completed by the Texas Woman's University Library, 4 June 1994; a photograph of Thompson during her WASP service, circa 1944.

The Thornburg Family Papers consist primarily of correspondence between family members and friends. This includes letters to and from William Lindsay Thornburg (1837-1879) who was a native of Randolph County, North Carolina. He served as a Confederate soldier in the 38th North Carolina Infantry (Company H) during the Civil War. In addition to letters, there are locks of hair as well as a family bible of William Thornburg and his wife, Janette Taylor Evans.

Joan S. Tillotson was director of Project Movement Education around Plattsburgh, New York, from 1966-1969.

The collection contains correspondence, reports, programs, and photographs relating to Project Movement Education for which Tillotson was the Director, 1966-1969.

George Tindall taught history at Woman's College (now UNCG) and published a number of books on the history of the United States and the American South.

This manuscript is the final typescript, with hand-written corrections, of Tindall's book entitled South Carolina Negroes, 1877-1900.
