The collection includes an oral history transcript, 27 May 1999; a New York Times article titled, "New Army Nurses Depart for Camp"; various photographs of Lucke during and after serving with the Army Nurse Corps in the Philippines and Tokyo, 1945-1946.

Anthony M. Ludovici was born in London on January 8, 1882, to Albert and Marie Ludovici. In 1920, he married Elsie F. Buckley (d. 1959). He died April 3, 1971.

The collection consists of a notebook of Ludovici's writings and fifteen letters written to his friend, Francis Bickley.

Dr. Elizabeth A. Ludwig was a leader in the field of physical education. This collection contains papers, notes, photographs, correspondence, and audiovisual material related to her research and teaching in that field.

Carolyn Maness graduated from the Women's College (UNCG) in 1946 and Jean Gordon taught at UNCG as Associate Professor of History from 1964 to 1994. In the fall of 1999 they organized a preservation campaign to halt the demolition of the UNCG Chancellor's House.

The Carolyn Maness and Jean Gordon Papers date 1999-2004 and contain research materials, correspondence, newspaper clippings and photographs that document the efforts to save the Chancellor's House.

Emily Morgan Manlove was a student at the Woman's College of the University of North Carolina, graduating in 1951 with a Bachelor's degree in History. Among her college activities, Manlove was a member of the Aletheian Society, Future Teachers of America, and the Recreation Association.

The Emily Morgan Manlove Scrapbook dates from 1949 to 1950. Among its contents are event programs, college documents, correspondence, invitations, tickets, and other memorabilia.

A collection of 5 blue prints, 18 drawings, and 1 sepia print created by Warren Henry Manning from 1902-1920. Warren Henry Manning (1860-1938) was a landscape designer, landscape architect, and regional planner from Reading Massachusetts. From 1901 to 1921, Manning corresponded and consulted with Presidents Charles D. McIver and Julius I. Foust about the landscape plans for the campus. He was named the official landscape architect of the college in 1909.

The collection contains two U-matic tapes and two DVD copies of the U-matic tapes.

Jean Knapp Marsh was a leader in the field of physical education and dance. The Jean Knapp Marsh Papers date from approximately the 1920s to 1992 and include teaching materials, sheet music, typescript and manuscript music, a scrapbook of dance/costume materials, and photographs.
