Abstract
In 1920, the Faculty Committee approved granting Masters degrees, with an emphasis on training high school teachers and administrators. Throughout the 20th century, the graduate school has expanded dramatically; currently there are 6 schools and colleges which serve 3600 graduate students.
The collection contains five boxes of material, including annual reports, research journals, graduate bulletins, and general curriculum information.

Abstract
UNCG created the Office of Research in 1999 to report to the Provost in the Division of Academic Affairs. In recognition of growing roles and responsibilities, UNCG expanded this unit in 2009 into the Office of Research and Economic Development, which was to be led by a Vice Chancellor.
