Scope and Contents
Mossman discusses the importance of bringing quality faculty to the institution during its transition periods and the introspection faculty and administration went through in order to determine the institution's future. She describes the decision to become coeducational, reactions to that event and preparations for the transition. She talks about the status of this institution within the state throughout its transitions and transitions of the state university system. She recalls the issue of the speaker ban, desegregation and the creation of additional doctoral programs.
