This check enabled UNCG to reach and surpass its private gift goal of $1,000,000. Affixed to the back of the frame is a letter from Bryan to Charles W. Patterson, III, Vice Chair of Development, dated 7/6/1989. In October 1989 the School of Business and Economics building was named after Bryan.
