School of Health and Human Performance Academic Stole created by Laura Bailey Parks. Named "AcaDEANia," the quilted stole was commissioned to be part of the school dean's academic regalia. Parts of the stole are made from the academic hood and gown of the late Mary Channing Coleman, as well as from the clothing of other former deans. Dr. Kate Barrett, retired professor, was the coordinator and point person of the stole commission, 1997
