Scope and Contents Journal is a Line a Day journal. Each page of Richardson's diary contains five years worth of entries. The first first four lines are from 1942 of that date with the next four from 1943. This pattern continues with four lines being reserved for 1944, four for 1945, and the last four lines of each page for 1946.
