(created ca. 1971) Gold (marked 10K). Black onyx stone with engraved Minerva logo surrounded by the "University of North Carolina Greensboro." Flanked by "UNCG" and "46" on the sides. Stamped inside as "Jostens." Engraved on inside with "Nancy White," "WC," and "1963." Nancy White was a professor in the Home Economics Department. She received her BA in 1946 and her PhD in 1963; she was the only recipient of a PhD from the Woman's College. Thought to have been specially ordered.
