1949 Women in the Air Force (WAF) Photograph Album
This photograph album documents the early days of the Women in the Air Force Program including some of the earliest African American WAF. The photographs mostly document the trainees in San Antonio, Texas and Lackland Air Force Base and shows the women working and training around the base. There are also photographs of the women during their free time enjoying activities on and off base including trips to the Alamo, Riverwalk, and the Continental Divide.

Barbara A. Wolfe Kucharczyk of Florida served in the U.S. Air Force from 1976 to 1998.
The Kucharczyk Papers primarily date 1977 to 1998 and cincludes March 2003 and April 2019 oral history transcripts, photographs and photograph albums, military papers and records, clippings, programs, writings, yearbooks, awards, artifacts, uniform and uniform accessories, insignia, ribbons, badges, and medals, which document her career in the U.S. Air Force.
