Department of Consumer, Apparel, and Retail Studies Records
The Department offers Bachelor of Science (BS), Post-Baccalaureate Certificate(PBC), Master of Science (MS), and Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degrees. The curriculum prepares students for careers in apparel design and in retailing and marketing with the focus on satisfying consumer demand.
This record group is comprised of annual reports, newsletters, an archive of the department's website, and accreditation materials dating from 1987-2015.

Institute for Child and Family Development Records
The Institute for Child and Family Development was established at Woman's College (now UNCG) in 1959 and dissolved in August 1974. The records contain reports, correspondence, meeting minutes, and other information about the operation of the Institute as well as its faculty members.

Dean of the School of Human Environmental Sciences
The School of Human Environmental Sciences was created in 1987, with Home Economics being at UNCG since 1892. In 2011 it was merged with several other departments and programs to become the School of Health and Human Sciences. The department is now defunct.
This collection contains audio cassettes, VHS tapes, correspondence, newsletters, committee minutes, reports, memorandums, and publications related to a variety of topics dating from 1946-2011.
Department of Social Work Records
In 1980, the Department of Social Work was established from the Social Work Program in the Department of Sociology. Currently it is part of the School of Human Environmental Sciences.
The records of Department of Social Work contains accreditation applications, brochures, degree proposals, newsletters, and an archive of the department's website which document the activities of the Department from 1974-2015.
