Scope and Contents
The Edna Pauline Hardin Notebook dates from April - May 1895. The Notebook consists of 29 loose leaves annotated by Hardin and contains mounted plant specimens with information regarding each specimen's Latin and English name, where the specimen was collected, and on what date. Some specimens are no longer intact. One specimen was collected during the summer of 1899 and one specimen is undated and unidentified. The Notebook was complied by Hardin for a course in physical geography and botany while attending the North Carolina State Normal and Industrial School.
