Diary, 1917
Scope and Contents
Harriet L. Leete's journal spans from January 1917 through December 1917. She writes about her work with the children's hospitals in France as well as the lectures which she created. While a large portion of the journal is dedicated to recording her sightseeing trips and her social obligations, she does include entries on her firsthand experiences with the war itself including events such as seeing bombs in the air and meeting with the families who struggled to survive while their husbands and fathers were at war.
