Moran, William E, 1991 January 28
Scope and Contents
Moran provides details of his first impressions of UNCG, including his concern over the governance structure and lack of direct access to the legislature and board of governors, the lack of support for graduate students and the physical deterioration of campus facilities. He discusses his decision to begin a review of the university's mission as well as its physical resources. He compares the governance of UNCG to that of his previous institutions and describes the move towards a more classical structure of faculty and administration.
