Scope and Contents
Moran tells of his years at SUNY Stony Brook and University of Michigan-Flint and compares those campuses to what he found at The University of North Carolina at Greensboro. He recalls his first impressions of the university and the South, the differences in university governance at UNCG and the diversity among the University of North Carolina System schools. He discusses his first impressions of the academic programs, the disrepair of the campus facilities and the work of redefining the institution's mission.
