Biographical Note

Laura G. Anderton (1918-2011) began her career at Woman's College of the University of North Carolina, now The University of North Carolina at Greensboro, as an instructor in the Department of Biology in 1948. She served as associate professor and professor of biology and as associate dean of the College of Arts and Sciences and retired in 1986.
