Scope and Contents
Instrumental music mainly for violoncello accompanied by a second violoncello, bass, or keyboard (mainly unfigured bass line). Vocal music consists mainly of arrangements of arias from Handel operas. Manuscript collection of 55 pieces, predominantly for violoncello and basso continuo or for tenor and bass instrument by Ariosti, Arne, Boni, Bononcini, Corelli, Fesch, Handel, Le Jeune (Jacob Klein), and unidentified composers.
