This scrapbook, created by members of the dance committees of the Dikean and Cornelian Societies at Woman's College of the University of North Carolina (now The University of North Carolina at Greensboro), contains materials relating to the Dikean-Cornelian formal dance, "Brigadoon," held on March, 17, 1951 in Rosenthal Gymnasium. The scrapbook contains an invitation, a dance card/program, newspaper clippings, a dance-themed paper napkin, a swatch of plaid tartan used in Scottish guards' kilts, an orchestra contract, and dance committee reports detailing committee duties and financial expenditures. The scrapbook is decorated with ephemera relating to the dance's theme, "Brigadoon."
