This scrapbook, created by members of the dance committees of the Adelphian and Aletheian Societies at Woman's College of the University of North Carolina (now The University of North Carolina at Greensboro), contains materials relating to the Adelphian-Aletheian Societies formal dance, "Sweetheart Ball," held on February 4, 1950 in Rosenthal Gymnasium. The scrapbook contains a dance card/program, newspaper clippings, and dance committee reports detailing committee duties and financial expenditures. The cover is decorated with a heart-shaped paper cut-out.
