This scrapbook, created by members of the Sophomore Class Dance Committee at Woman's College of the University of North Carolina (now The University of North Carolina at Greensboro), contains materials relating to the Sophomore Class formal dance, "Cinderella Ball," held on March 6, 1948 in Rosenthal Gymnasium. The scrapbook contains paintings and drawings of decorated rooms in the gymnasium, as well as a dance card/program, an invitation, a guest list, newspaper clippings, correspondence, and dance committee reports detailing committee duties and financial expenditures. Also included is information regarding an informal party, "Drug Store Drop-In," held at the "Hut For Fun" on the afternoon of the dance.
