This scrapbook, created by student members of the Young Women’s Christian Association, contains materials relating to the 1947-1948 school year at Woman’s College of the University of North Carolina (now The University of North Carolina at Greensboro). Scrapbook contents include “SPAN” newsletters about student public affairs, a program regarding YWCA services, a program for the North American Student Conference on Christian Frontier, a narrative and additional material regarding a trip to New York City for the New York Presidents’ school, and newspaper clippings regarding membership, retreats, events, and activities. Photographs depict members, meetings, events, and the deputation ceremony at North Carolina State University.
