[The Wesley Foundation Scrapbook], 1941 - 1942
Scope and Contents
This scrapbook, created by representatives of the Wesley Foundation, contains materials relating to the 1941-1942 school year at Woman’s College of the University of North Carolina (now The University of North Carolina at Greensboro). Scrapbook contents include correspondence regarding new members, tickets and blue ribbons from a church fair, church student groups event list, “The Eye” newsletter, Sunday Service announcements, pledge cards, a calendar and calendar pages, name tags, fliers and announcement sheets regarding Foundation activities, Coopertown project photographs, a Christmas letter from missionaries in the Congo, newspaper clippings regarding foundation activities and related events, a poster regarding Second National Methodist Student Council, pins from the North Carolina Methodists Student Conference in Urbana, Illinois and Chapel Hill, North Carolina, and “The Footlight: A Magazine of Religious Drama” from the spring of 1942. The scrapbook also contains programs for Worship Services, Interfaith Council Installations, and the North Carolina Methodist Student Conference in Urbana and Chapel Hill.
