This scrapbook, created by residents of Cotten Hall, contains materials relating to the 1956-1957 school year at Woman’s College of University of North Carolina (now The University of North Carolina at Greensboro). The contents of the scrapbook include an invitation to tea for new students, an invitation to the Elliott Hall Ball, a poem about Rat Day, and a program cover and ticket stub from the September 22, 1956 football game between the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and North Carolina State College (later North Carolina State University), held at Kenan Stadium in Chapel Hill. Newspaper clippings document the Commercial Program students, the Dolphin-Seal Club, Freshman Formal, honor roll students, orientation, Rat Day, and student life.
