Scope and Contents

From the Collection:

The Raymond J. Gariglio Papers consists primarily of manuscript compositions and arrangements for wind instruments by Gariglio. Included among the compsitions are multiple arrangement for Gariglio's work, "Haitian Peasant Woman," which he wrote during his time conducting the Orchestra Philharmonique St. Trinitie in Haiti. Many of his compositions and arrangements for wind trio and quintet derived from his days with the Carolina Sea Flutes and the Eastwind  Quintet (a UNCG faculty ensemble).

Gariglio's collection also includes scrapbooks chronicling his career, teaching notes, and recordings.
