This collection includes 77 broadsides of poetry and prose by various authors collected by UNCG professor and poet Emilia Phillips. Each broadside contains a poem or excerpt, the poet's name, and a colophon describing printing information. There are various printmaking processes used, including digital, letterpress, and relief printing. Papers used include both handmade and machine-made. The broadsides were collected between 2009 and 2020, though some are undated.

This broadside commemorates Kwame Dawes's visit to Grand Valley State University as a part of Poetry Night on October 15, 2015. The poem is from the chapbook Bruised Totems by Kwame Dawes, appearing in the book Duppy Conqueror and here with permission of the author. Illustration & design by W. Todd Kaneko.
