Content Description
This collection includes 77 broadsides of poetry and prose by various authors collected by UNCG professor and poet Emilia Phillips. Each broadside contains a poem or excerpt, the poet's name, and a colophon describing printing information. There are various printmaking processes used, including digital, letterpress, and relief printing. Papers used include both handmade and machine-made. The broadsides were collected between 2009 and 2020, though some are undated.

The title "Because B" sits vertically on the large 'B' illustration that enclosed the text of the poem.
General
The poem originally appeared in Willow Springs no. 68 in Fall 2011. Broadside was made in collaboration with Willow Springs to commemorate the 2014 AWP Annual Conference in Seattle, Washington. Designed by Jehanne Dubrow and Lindsay Lusby. Printed by hand on a Vandercook 4 Proof Press by Mike Kaylor at teh Rose O'Neill Literary House.
