Content Description
This collection includes 77 broadsides of poetry and prose by various authors collected by UNCG professor and poet Emilia Phillips. Each broadside contains a poem or excerpt, the poet's name, and a colophon describing printing information. There are various printmaking processes used, including digital, letterpress, and relief printing. Papers used include both handmade and machine-made. The broadsides were collected between 2009 and 2020, though some are undated.

"(why your room has a door)" originally appeared in the Spring 2012 issue of Ploughshares, which was guest-edited by Nick Flynn. This broadside was made in collaboration with Ploughshares to commemorate the 2013 AWP Annual Conference in Boston, Massachusetts. Designed by Lindsay Lusby. Printed by hand on a Vandercook 4 Proof Press by Mike Kaylor at the Rose O'Neill Literary House, 2013.
