Content Description
This collection, donated by Jacqueline Jeffries Kpeglo, contains a document memorializing the death of her grandfather, L.B. Jeffries,the earliest documented Black architect in Greensboro. Also in the collection are a graduation class photo (unlabeled or dated) and an honorary doctorate certificate awarded to Vernon Jeffries, a pastor and the father of Jacqueline and her sister, Yvonne Jeffries Johnson, the first Black mayor of Greensboro, NC.
