This scrapbook has seven post cards included (loose material). Photos depict Bicknell's first days as a WAVE, through photos of her in uniform. Photos also depict her time at Hunter College, as well as her fellow WAVES. Photos do not have captions. Various buildings at Hunter College depicted, women in group photos around campus. Also pictured is potentially a dorm style room at Hunter College, with two sets of bunk beds, another picture shows women standing outside of an unknown building with various types of luggage. Some of the group photos included are goofy style photos, as well as their more professional smiling photographs. Some recreational activities are also shown including pictures of various women on horseback. A wedding is also depicted, showing the bride and groom standing next to each other beside a house. Barracks, lounges, personal lockers, and food is also pictured. WAVES playing baseball with women and men is depicted. A few planes and automobiles are pictured with various WAVES standing around them. Close up photobooth shots allow for a closer look into the men and women's faces. There also appears to be some attampted budoir photos of women in what appears to be towels, and their military caps. A class photo of the U.S. Naval Training Station in Sampson, New York is included (males) and dated March 29, 1944 Company 287. Various air manuevers are depicted on graound and in air.
