The collection includes a copy of newspaper clipping from Tale Spinning with the Editor article, 1961 August; a copy of Richmond Times-Dispatch article "Veteran Army Nurse Enjoys Her New Status as Civilian," 1961 September; 2 letters of correspondence with a woman named Jackie, 1949 May and 1977; a postcard with message to a Mrs. Floyd Mabie (copy), 1938; handwritten questions and responses from an interview Bryant did with 4th grader Hilary Humphrey at Greensboro Day School, 1977; invitation for portrait unveiling and Tea to honor Bryant (copy); a newspaper clipping from Times-Dispatch "Ruby Ficklin Bryant, Army colonel, dies at 95" (copy), 2002 January; a yearbook from Richmond County Intermediate School titled "Close Ties," 1997; various photographs of Bryant stationed in the Far East, including places in China, Guam, Panama Canal, circa 1930s, along with 1 from portrait unveiling, in Morocco 1966, and Bryant at home.
