Manuscripts, 1970-1990, undated
Scope and Contents
These writings include Harris' memories of the sit-ins and his opinions about their long-term effects, as well as his criticisms of articles and books written by other authors about the sit-ins and the larger civil rights movement. The final, typed versions of the manuscripts in Folders 6 to 17 can be found in the scrapbooks in this collection. Harris' thoughts on the sit-ins are filed first, then his comments on others' articles and books, in chronological order.
