50th Anniversary, Stamp Album, 1976
Scope and Contents
The Rotary Club of Greensboro Papers consist of Board of Directors materials, meeting minutes, correspondence, membership and attendance records, financial materials, project and program files, event files, newspaper clippings and publications, photographs, and audiovisual materials. The correspondence and newspaper clippings document issues concerning business professionals in the United States and internationally -- including major times of upheaval, such as World War II. Additionally, the projects and programs files document both local and international issues -- such as the development of downtown Greensboro, the Boy Scouts, environmentalism, international relations with Moldova and other countries, and the admittance of the first women in Rotary Clubs.
