Louanne K. Watley is a North Carolina artist and retired nurse. She is based in Chapel Hill, NC. This collection includes photographs, collotypes and other experimental prints, and artist's books. Watley's work is rooted in photography yet is much more expansive in terms of her playful experimentations with her imagery, often creating a varied series of prints with multiple layers and colors. The collection represents numerous bodies of work as well as many stages of her process, including original photographs, print blocks, and variations of imagery within a body of work.
