Abstract

Alan Beeler (1939-2016) is remembered as a performer, educator, and a prolific composer. Acquired in November 2016, the Alan Beeler Collection contains over a hundred manuscript compositions and arrangements, in addition to other music for a variety of instrumentation. The collection also contains a small amount of Beeler's personal papers, including teaching materials.

Abstract Raymond J. Gariglio came to UNCG in 1966 as a Professor of Music and became the bandmaster for all UNCG performing band ensembles.
