Marjorie Craig was an alumna of Woman's College (now UNCG), and taught in North Carolina public schools and then at Brevard College until her retirement in 1953. The Marjorie Craig papers date from 1917 to 1955 and include photographs, manuscripts, a diary, correspondence, and biographical information.
Virginia Brown Douglas graduated from the State Normal and Industrial College (now UNCG) in 1902.
Her papers include correspondence with Dr. Gove and T. Gilbert Peason, an account of the history of Guilfod County, and recollections of growing up in eastern North Carolina.
Maria Rendleman was a teacher in North Carolina in the nineteenth century. This collection includes a contract (signed March 26, 1858) to teach at the Public School House of District Number 25 in Rowan County for a term of three months.
Lelia Judson Tuttle (1878-1976) was an alumna of the State Normal and Industrial College (now UNCG), and spent over 30 years as a missionary teaching English in China.
