The officer describes events such as deploying from Camp Merritt in New Jersey, USA, sailing to Liverpool, England, UK, and eventually being stationed in various locations in the UK and France. Of particular significance is the officer's account of the events of November 11, 1918, when a cease fire was declared and the war was over.
