Scope and Contents The collection contains Thelma Meyer's diary of the years 1943 to 1945 when she worked in the motor pool out of Fort Myer outside of Washington D.C. It also includes miscellaneous papers regarding her time in the WAAC and WAC. The collection also contains many newspaper clippings, some concerning the WAACs, military humor and life around the time of her service.
