This collection contains three manuscript wartime letters, 1862-1864, written to Jerusha A. Sawyer by grateful soliders who served alongside or were treated by her. Also, a post-war Department of the Interior Pension Award certificate, an original that includes receipt stamp by the U.S. Pension Agent at Boston, Massachusetts, dated 1894 January 20.
