Abstract

The Department offers Bachelor of Science (BS), Post-Baccalaureate Certificate(PBC), Master of Science (MS), and Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degrees. The curriculum prepares students for careers in apparel design and in retailing and marketing with the focus on satisfying consumer demand.

The School of Human Environmental Sciences was created in 1987, with Home Economics being at UNCG since 1892. In 2011 it was merged with several other departments and programs to become the School of Health and Human Sciences. The department is now defunct.
