Ann K. Watters Collection
Ann Watters (1925-2006) of Wilmington, North Carolina, served in the Women Airforce Service Pilots (WASP) from 1943 to 1944.
The collection includes a 2000 June oral history transcript.
Way and Williams Collection
Way and Williams, Publishers was established in 1895 by Washington Irving Way and Chauncey Williams. Although the firm lasted only three years (1895-1898) and produced only sixty-six books, many of its titles represent the work of some of the major artists and book designers of the period.
The Way and Williams manuscripts collection dates from 1895 to 1990 and contains correspondence, legal materials, photographs, typescripts, printed materials, and a scrapbook.
Weatherspoon Art Museum Association Records
The Weatherspoon Art Museum Association was originally founded in 1942 as the Friends of the Weatherspoon Gallery. Today, the Association serves as an important link between the Weatherspoon Art Museum and the community at large.
The records of the Weatherspoon Art Museum Association contain brochures, correspondence, handbooks, invitations, meeting minutes, and reports which document the activities of the Association from 1941-2009.
Weatherspoon Art Museum Foundation Records
The Weatherspoon Art Museum Foundation was established in 1990 and is responsible for the holding and purchasing of art work for the Weatherspoon Art Museum.
The records of the Weatherspoon Art Museum Foundation contain inventories, meeting minutes, and reports which document the activities of the Foundation from 1987-2005

Arlene Mae Webb Collection
Arlene Mae Webb (1923-2007), of Overland, Missouri, served in the United States Women's Army Auxiliary Corps (WAAC) and the Women's Army Corps (WAC) from 1943-1945.
This collection contains photograph albums and a chalk drawing of Webb from prominent St. Louis artist, Homer L. Dolahite.
Hilda Weil Scrapbook
Hilda Weil of Goldsboro, North Carolina, attended the North Carolina College for Women (now UNCG) from 1922-1926.
The scrapbook includes clippings, correspondence, pictures, booklets, cards, invitations and postcards.
Egon Wellesz Contemporary Music Collection
Egon Wellesz (1885-1974) was an Austrian-born British composer, tecaher, and musicologist who composed over 125 works in a variety of perfomance media. He was also a scholar who specialized in Byzantine music and taught at Oxford. Wellesz was a student of composer Arnold Schoenberg and his collection contains many of Schoenberg's published works.
Helen Wells Letter
This collection consists of one letter from Helen Wells to two young readers. Wells was the author of many of the Cherry Ames books, a series of 27 mystery novels for young teens.
