Lettie Glass was a student of the North Carolina State Normal and Industrial College, graduating in 1905. Glass was a Marshal, a member of the Glee Club, and presented her graduating essay on Prison Life during the Civil War.

The Lettie Glass Collection consists of a hand-assembled scrapbook containing student photographs taken by L. Francis Hanes of the class of 1904 with handwritten captions as well as the diploma she earned at the college.
