Language of Materials



The University of North Carolina Board of Governors is responsible for the governance and management of the University of North Carolina System of Higher Learning, which is comprised of 17 campuses across the state of North Carolina. This collection contains 7 boxes of records including meeting minutes, reports, correspondence, and meeting minutes ranging from 1971-2006.

Arrangement Note

This collection has been arranged into two series. Series 1 is arranged in alphabetical order and contains records of a general nature including reports, correspondence, and committee minutes. Series 2 is arranged in chorological order and contains the monthly Board of Governors meeting minutes.

Materials were transferred by the office.
