Mabel Vines Pearson Scrapbook
Scope and Contents
The Mabel Vines Pearson Scrapbook is a large black scrapbook titled My Memory Book. It is predominantly annotated in white ink on black paper. The materials within the scrapbook date from 1925 to 1933, with a possible gap in 1932. It contains several clippings from books and newspapers, as well as postcards, photographs, correspondence, event programs, invitations, examinations, ticket stubs and receipts, autographs, an autograph book, memorabilia, a map of the campus, dried cigarettes and flora.

Biographical or Historical Information
Mabel Vine Pearson graduated from the North Carolina College for Women (now the University of North Carolina at Greensboro) with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Education in 1929. During her time as a student at NCCW, she was a member of the Aletheian Society, the Mathematics Club, and the Education Club.

The Mabel Vines Pearson Scrapbook dates from 1925 to 1933, with a possible gap in 1932. Among its contents are various clippings, correspondence, autographs, an autograph book, invitations, tickets, memorabilia, and various college documents.
