American Home Economics Association Student Member Section Scrapbooks
Scope and Contents
In 2011 and 2012, the University Archives Scrapbook Collection was organized from the scrapbooks that had been transferred by various campus associations, classes, clubs, committees, departments, organizations, residence halls, and schools to the University Archives. The scrapbooks contain brochures, certificates, correspondence, dance cards, doodles, drawings, ephemera, essays, fliers, greeting cards, invitations, minutes, newsletters, newspaper clippings, orchestra contracts, paintings, photographs, playbills, poetry, postcards, posters, programs, publication clippings, receipts, reports, song lyrics, tickets, textiles, relating to campus associations, classes, committees, departments, organizations, residence halls, and schools. The scrapbooks were digitized and each scrapbook was interleaved with acid free paper and housed in acid free boxes to preserve the fragile items. The digitized scrapbooks can be viewed online at: http://libcdm1.uncg.edu/cdm/search/collection/ui/searchterm/ua111*/mode/all/order/title.
