Scope and Contents
The collection comprises the official records of the Southeastern Theatre Conference. Administrative records include minutes, financial documents, directories, and the organization's Minutes and Mailings Manuals. Additional communications include general correspondence, records and forms from internal committees and divisions, and records from external liaisons and state representatives. A significant part of the collection is composed of convention materials, including audition forms and awards and scholarship materials and award-winning play scripts and design concepts. Records are arranged alphabetically by type, where applicable, and chronologically thereafter. Materials are primarily textual, but audiovisual materials include artifacts, photographs and negatives, audio and video cassettes, reel-to-reels, CDs, and DVDs.
