Personal Correspondence, 1945 - 1946
Scope and Contents
This collection consists of eight personal letters from Strawn to Mrs. and/or Mr. Webster of West Covington, Kentucky, and one letter from Strawn's friend Lauretta to her parents.
These letters talk about the active life she enjoyed with Lauretta and their fellow WACs off-duty. She also described the places she, Lauretta, and her parents travelled to, discussed her brief stay in the base hospital whlie undergoing surgery for a hernia, and lastly her excitement that the end of the war was announced.
